Real Lives, Real Change

Behind every statistic is a person fighting to rebuild. This is one of those stories.

Sally met her partner in high school. He introduced her to drugs, and slowly her life unraveled. She lost custody of her children. She was living on the streets, with nowhere to turn and no one who believed she could change. But Sally found recovery — and with the right support, she fought her way back. She regained custody of her children, rebuilt her confidence, and today she stands as proof that no one is beyond hope.

Many women share a similar path. Lighthouse Lodge exists to make sure they don’t walk it alone.

Why This Matters

Addiction doesn’t just affect individuals — it reshapes families. Women and children are disproportionately impacted.

Louise Knapp

Founder & President

Louise has worked in the field of substance abuse since 1993. As a licensed substance abuse counselor, she has seen firsthand the barriers women face in recovery — especially those raising young children.
